2. What we are
Lifecycle Aesthetic is:
- A UK & EU directory of credential-checked aesthetic clinics.
- A governance-aligned verification platform.
- An information and enquiry-coordination service.
We are not a clinic or medical provider.
3. Accessibility features
We design the platform to support a wide range of users through:
Clear, readable typography
- High-contrast Deep Ink text.
- Scalable font sizes.
- Consistent spacing and hierarchy.
Keyboard navigation
- Full navigation without a mouse.
- Visible focus indicators.
- Accessible form fields.
Screen-reader compatibility
- Semantic HTML.
- ARIA labels where appropriate.
- Descriptive alt text for images.
Colour accessibility
- Platinum and Deep Ink palette with strong contrast.
- No reliance on colour alone to convey meaning.
Accessible forms
- Labelled inputs.
- Error messages with clear guidance.
- Logical tab order.
Responsive design
- Accessible on mobile, tablet, and desktop.
- Touch-friendly controls.
4. Non-accessible content
Some content may not yet fully meet WCAG 2.2 AA due to:
- Third-party integrations.
- Legacy clinic images without alt text.
- User-generated content (reviews, clinic uploads).
We are actively improving these areas.
5. Ongoing improvements
Accessibility is an ongoing commitment. We continuously:
- Audit pages for WCAG compliance.
- Refine navigation and structure.
- Improve alt text coverage.
- Update components for assistive-technology compatibility.
- Review colour contrast and readability.
- Test with automated and manual tools.
We welcome feedback from users and accessibility specialists.
